Join the upcoming cohort to journey through a ritual theatre and fire initiation for the earth and our collective feminine.
I write to you from the radiant sun of Leo Season, the Solar Plexus, and warmth of life that inspires us towards the turning of the wheel of time. We have already transited past the Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere and are approaching the Spring Equinox.
It’s this planting seeds of time that compels me to look to the horizon of the Summer and our beloved Roots Women’s Festival and the coming expansion for our community of the rising feminine.
With great privilege, I’m honoured to guide the Fire Ceremony for Roots 2027.
My 10+ years of teaching and performing the art of Fire Dancing have been slowly coming towards a close as I sense a deeper transition into a new season of mastery in my life.
So, after much deliberation; I have chosen to devote the remainder of my year to the fulfilment of this Ritual Fire Theatre Ceremony piece.
Through this unique Fire Ceremony we will be awakening 3 Rituals that represent the sacred feminine prayer for beauty, radiance, power and liberation.
THE 3 RITUALS
3 Rituals carried out in procession, each anchored by a piece of music.
1. The Prayer — activates a grid of sacred fire on the physical, psyche, spiritual dimensions and becomes a conduit drawing in the collective awareness and dreams of 600 women on Dharug Country
2. The Empress’ Offering — shows us the gift of feminine leadership and how generously she awakens and nourishes the power of our abundant beauty, play, sensuality, grace and art, how she makes space for the muses to move through us
3. The Wild Feminine — unleashes us into the fierce protection and reclaimation of our primordial bliss, mystery, and ecstatic liberation

This is a complete devotion to a higher visionary body of sacred and transformational art.
If you are ONLY looking to learn to Fire Dance, this may not be the right offering for you.
You will each have different skills, experience, art forms and be in different phases of your journey. This will be a time of commitment, honouring the roles you are ready for and navigating patience and devotion to the collective work. By saying yes, you are acknowledging that you are truly ready mind body and soul to take on the responsibility of being woven into a tapestry of women. That you will be relied upon for your presence, radiance and commitment.
ROOTS WOMEN’S FESTIVAL
Takes place on Dharug Country, Wisemens Ferry, about 1.5hrs out of Sydney.
The festival runs the second weekend of February from Friday 12 — Monday 15, 2027.
Our Fire Ceremony is Saturday 13th in the evening.
You are required to arrive on Friday, ideally to create a Temple Camp all together for the journey.
You are welcome to leave on the Sunday or Monday.
Roots has been a swiftly growing transformational women’s festival over the years and for many becomes a highly symbolic mark of change and evolution in the year.
We have been invited to offer our dance as the Opening Offering for the Fire Circle.
Only 10 tickets to the Festival have been reserved for our group of dancers.
For this reason I have offered Discounted and Full Priced enrolments to this cohort.
Full Priced Enrolments ensure that your ticket to Roots Women’s Festival is included in this program price.
Discounted Enrolments will require that you purchase your own ticket to Roots Women’s Festival OR that you are a facilitator or volunteer of the festival with a ticket.

The Fire Ceremony
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
— Patience, love and devotion.
— During our studio classes you may wear anything you like. For our Fire Rehearsals please wear natural fire-safe materials.
— Costuming split skirt and top is included in the course price and will be provided by me.
— You will need to provide your own gold jewellery for the costume.
— Fire Palm Candles and Fire Spears will be provided by me. You will need to provide the following if you are to take part in the Empress’ Offering: Fire Fans or Double Staffs. (Double Staffs can be ordered through me at a discounted rate).
COSTUMING
Costuming is a process of self adornment, transformation and meditative embodiment.
The colour of our Costumes will be brown and gold, inspired by the earth and wood that is required to nurture the flames into their golden light.
As much golden jewellery as you like is welcomed. Rings, bangles, earrings, anklets, necklaces.

This course can be suitable for beginners to advanced dancers, whilst prior experience is desirable, you will also be given the Archetypal Role that is suitable for your skill and granted access to Online Learning Material for technique and pre-course at home practice. The pace of this course equally offers accessible movements for anyone to develop.

The sessions are spaced appropriately that you are attending only what is involving your Archetypal Role. It’s ideal you don’t miss any.
No refunds, discounts, extra material or extra sessions will be provided if you miss any in-person session.
