Dear sister, this is a private invitation into a Ritual Fire Dance Ceremony to be Performed for Roots Women’s Festival 2026.
With Only 8 Spaces Available, 8 Women, we will journey through a unique Ceremonial Course to initiate us into the Exotic Ritual Theatre of Fire and Dance.
We are currently amidst the underbelly of the Eclipse Season. A potentially churning time that asks for us to surrender to the unknown and be reborn for the coming 6 month cycle. As a woman, this is a natural honouring theme of our potential strength and adept capacity in the process of death and rebirth. The power of transformation, in the process of beauty, power and art through surrendering and devoting ourselves to the mysteries of life.
Fire is an intimate dance with one of our worlds raw wild and often misunderstood elements. Fire casts both shadows and light. The burning qualities in our life can be so entrancing to witness. When we burn with passion, fury, warmth, destruction, inspiration or change.
In many cultures fire is considered to be masculine, father or grandfather fire. I think of him as the carrier, the vessel that knows how to hold and move the dancing feminine flames into their fullest expression of truth.
In many ways we also associate the feminine as the symbol of the hearth, the fireplace and heart of the home. The home of a house, the womb of the body.
Whatever needs to happen, whether we let the fire go out and lose our way, whether we fuel the fire to transform matter into the spirit, whether we burn the world in our wake, whether we use the fire to light us through our dark nights of the soul, whether we generate the warmth and radiance to nourish the world, or whether we just dance the wild and liberating dance of life.
The fire keeper and great masculine qualities of fire have the capacity to stay in the power and remind us that whenever the feminine nature of fire is ready to harness her potential, only wild beauty can emerge.
Through this unique Ceremonial Fire Dance Journey we will be initiated into archetypal roles that represent the feminine process of beauty and awakening to power and the phases of this process.
The myriad roles we will embody:
- the priestess, the protector, the warrior, the serpent, the celestial dancer, and the mother
This is a complete devotion to a higher vision body of art and transformation.
If you are ONLY looking to learn to Fire Dance, this may not be the right offering for you.
As this invitation is exclusive to women in my circle that I feel are ready to step into this art or ready to take their dance further. You will each have different skills and be in different phases of your journey. This will be a time of commitment, honouring the roles you are ready for and navigating patience and devotion to the collective work. By saying yes, you are acknowledging that you are truly ready mind body and soul to take on the responsibility of being woven into a tapestry of women. That you will be relied upon for your presence, radiance and commitment.
ROOTS WOMEN’S FESTIVAL
Is where we will be performing this body of work in February 2026.
It takes place on a beautiful land in Wisemens Ferry, about 1.5hrs from Sydney.
The festival runs the first weekend of February from Friday 6 — Monday 9.
The exact day and time of our performance is most likely to fall on Saturday the 7th in the evening.
You are required to arrive on Friday so we can be all together for the journey.
You are welcome to leave on the Sunday or Monday.
Roots has been a swiftly growing transformational women’s festival over the last few years and for many becomes a highly symbolic mark of change and evolution in the year.
We have been invited to offer our dance as the Feature Opening Performance for the Fire Circle.
Only 8 tickets to the Festival have been reserved for my group of dancers.
By committing to this journey, you are committing to attending the Festival.
Your ticket price has been included in this course price, however, if you already have a ticket then there is another price available for you, so that more women have the opportunity to join us.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?
✓ 4 Months Access to the Online Fire Dance Palm Candle AND Fire Fan Courses for Pre-Learning and home practice (Valued at $300).

✓ An Opening Ceremony will begin the journey together and interlace our transformation narratives.
✓ Meditations and Grounding Circles throughout our Course are how we arrive to our classes and rehearsals on time, and regulate to the same rhythm and get to connect to each other.
✓ Each session we’ll move through a Signature Warm Up Sequence to intelligently awaken our bodies.
✓ The initial sessions we’ll flow into Learning and Revising our Individual Skillsets and connecting with our Archetypes, Formations and greater vision.
✓ We will continue into the Choreography and Ceremony Development with one dominant song that we’ll be devoting our Dance to.
✓ You’ll have ongoing support throughout the entire Journey in a WhatsApp Group Chat.
✓ Video Recordings of your Individual and Group Choreography parts will be Uploaded so you can practice at home.
✓ Throughout the Course you will like to film your own dance practice for self reflection and refinement.
✓ 6 Total Sessions of Studio Choreography and Rehearsal Classes.
✓ Summer Solstice Fire Rehearsal Initiation in December.
✓ We will have a break for the Christmas and New Year Holidays.
✓ Returning late January for the final Revision and Fire Rehearsal sessions the week/weekend before Roots.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THE COURSE
— Patience, love and devotion.
— During our studio classes you may wear anything you like. For our Fire Rehearsals please wear natural fire-safe materials.
— You will need to provide your own costume, the colour is red with gold jewellery.
— Fire Palm Candles and Fire Spears will be provided by me. You will need to provide the following if you are desiring to take part in these aspects of the Performance: Fire Fans or Double Staffs. (Double Staffs can be ordered through me at a discounted rate).
— Always bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
COSTUMING
Costuming is a process of self adornment, transformation and meditative embodiment.
The colour of our Costumes will be inspired by the colours: Red & Gold
Everyone is required to provide their own skirt and top for their Costume in any shade of red.
As much golden jewellery as you like is welcomed. Rings, bangles, earrings, anklets, necklaces.

This course can be suitable for beginners to advanced dancers, whilst prior experience is desirable, you will also be granted access to the Liquid Fusion Bellydance Online Course for technique and pre-course at home practice. The pace of this course equally offers accessible movements for anyone to develop.

The Course is In-Person in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.
We have 3 Locations throughout the 8 Weeks.

As a student, you are required to provide your own base outfit and jewellery.
Bella will provide chain, bead and tools for a simple creation to embellish your outfit. -
If you miss a Dance Choreography Class, you will receive basic breakdown revision videos to practice at home.
No refunds, discounts, material or extra sessions will be provided if you miss the Opening Ceremony, Costume Creation Day or the Videoshoot Experience.
